Terms of Service
Effective date: September 24, 2026
Scry is run by Scrymore ("we"). These terms cover the dashboard, CLI, Storybook viewer, search API, MCP server, design-diff service, the Scry Link Figma plugin and this site. By using Scry you agree to them. How we handle personal data is in the privacy policy.
Who can use Scry
You need to be 18 or older and using Scry for work. If you sign up for a company, you're agreeing for that company too. Keep your sign-in and API keys safe. You're responsible for what happens with them.
Your content is yours
You own what you upload: Storybooks, screenshots, Figma renders, notes and so on. You let us store, process and show it only as needed to run Scry for you and the people you share it with. That covers indexing your Storybooks, running AI diffs, answering searches, and using the providers on our subprocessor list.
We don't train AI models on your content. Only upload things you have the right to upload.
Public projects can be seen by anyone, including through search and the MCP server. Only make a project public if you're allowed to publish it.
Don't
- break the law or someone else's rights
- upload content you don't have rights to
- scrape or rehost other people's projects, or use Scry to build a competing screenshot library or search product
- abuse the AI features, or get around rate limits, credit limits or access controls
- attack Scry or try to get into accounts that aren't yours
Found a security bug? Tell us at security@scrymore.com. If you test in good faith, only touch your own accounts and data, don't disrupt the service, and give us reasonable time to fix it before you talk about it publicly, we won't take legal action against you.
AI can be wrong
AI diffs, link suggestions, descriptions and search results can miss things or get things wrong. Check them before you rely on them.
AI credits
Some AI features use credits, which belong to your organisation. Monthly credits reset on the 1st (UTC) and don't roll over. Credits have no cash value and can't be sold, transferred or refunded. We may change credit amounts or prices with 14 days' notice. Scry is free today. If we add paid plans, they'll come with their own terms.
No guarantees
Scry is provided "as is", with no uptime guarantee or SLA. Features may change. Other services we depend on, like Figma, GitHub and AI providers, have their own terms and can change too. Our tools may also come with their own licences.
Ending things
You can stop at any time and ask us to delete your account at privacy@scrymore.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. We may also close accounts that have been inactive for 12 months, after emailing you first. When an account closes, we delete its data as set out in the privacy policy, and any unused credits end. If we ever shut Scry down, we'll give you 30 days' notice.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses like lost profits or data. Our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the past 12 months, or $100, whichever is more.
If someone makes a claim against us because of content you uploaded or how you used Scry, you'll cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.
Changes
If we make a material change to these terms, we'll email you at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using Scry after that, you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by Texas law. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Bexar County, Texas.
